Our Story
The evolution of Trendy Dog Mom began in 2018 as a gift boutique in Louisville, Kentucky. Still thriving today, Pink Julep Boutique provides Louisville locals with a fashionable, fun and eclectic retail shopping experience for every gift occasion. Just as important, Pink Julep Boutique was a dream come true for our founder, Lisa Maltese, and became her canvas for creativity, design and entrepreneurship. In 2022, Lisa relocated to her hometown near Tampa, Florida. With pleasant morning gulf breezes, Lisa found herself walking her two beloved Jack Russell Terriers, Lux & Nox more frequently. Although the health of all three improved, Lisa often found herself disorganized preparing for her doggie walks with the needs for herself, Lux and Nox. On one of their morning walks, Lisa quickly designed in her head what an ideal dog walking experience would entail. With her boutique background and problem-solving spirit, Lisa designed a doggie messenger bag that combines fun, fashion and practicality.

Lisa's Favorites
Lisa enjoys the Florida sunshine and outdoor activities! She enjoys fitness, kayaking, and of course dog walking. Her favorite foods are pizza, cupcakes (hence the need to walk), & Mediterranean cuisine. She loves spending time with her husband of 30 years, Dan, her son Alexander (proud Medical School mom), and her daughter, Arianna, who attends University of South Florida.
